Ah, Resonance!
I believe the reader knows from personal experience what resonance is. It is like a plug and a socket that fit each other. It is also a clear “yes” or a clear “no,” when there is no doubt and you are sure. It is a soft “not now,” which does not even require an explanation.
Resonance in the energetic sense, which I want to write a little more about here, has a wider meaning, as I saw not long ago. I have spoken about it before in articles and books, because I consider resonance one of the most important elements in distinguishing what is mine and what is not, or what I do not choose.
At some point in my life and in the choices I was making, resonance stopped being a daily tool, like a toothbrush or clothes. Conscious use of resonance over many years of practice turned it into a self-regulating system of the energetic field. I almost always remember this as a human, and I trust it as a part of myself as a master. And sometimes, as a human, I forget about it. Then I wonder why something does not work. And later I remember that there is simply no resonance.
And here is what I discovered now. Resonance is not a stable structure, as I thought before. What makes something stable is a connected and coherent field. But resonance itself is a flash, a spark. And a spark does not always start a fire. Not everything I feel as resonance is meant to become physical and materialized. For example, any physical contact happens because resonance between people repeats again and again and becomes stronger through a coherent field between them — a third field, beyond the two individual fields of the people. When there is a continuous contribution to this third field, the contact becomes physical reality. And if this does not happen, the resonance was still there, but for some reason it was not supported further.
You may think I am speaking about relationships. Yes, I am. About all kinds of relationships — not only between people, but also with objects and non-living things and non-physical beings.
My simple example, which helped me look deeper into resonance, was a haircut. I managed to cut my hair only the second time. After searching for a suitable specialist near my home, I chose a place and booked an appointment. On the day of the visit, they wrote to me that my chosen specialist did not come to work for technical reasons, and they offered me another person or another time. In that moment I understood that we would not meet because of resonance. But 😁 I clearly remember that I felt resonance when I knew this specialist would do everything exactly right. I felt it after I booked the appointment. So what happened in those two days before the visit?
The resonance was there and it continued, but it did not become physical reality. We meet people through resonance. When we like them and when we do not like them as well. There is something that draws us to each other. That is resonance. Physical resonance reflects resonance in the energetic fields. But resonance in energetic fields does not automatically mean we will live it physically. Resonance is not a promise of form. Resonance is a touch of energies in movement, a temporary meeting of fields. So it is all about timing.
Why do some things not come together, even when there is clear resonance? When a field moves into a new configuration, the outer scenario is not canceled — it is re-adjusted. If your frequency changes, reality reorganizes around it. Then resonance stops being seen as something fragile. It is experienced as a potential and it does not disappear if it does not become an event — it redistributes. It either gathers into form or gathers into awareness. In this way, resonance fulfills itself fully in any case.
For a long time we lived in a paradigm where value is confirmed by physical results: if it did not happen, it means it was not real. Now it is different: it happened, and that is enough. Living energy does not stand still. It does not need to freeze into form to be real. Form is only one way of expression, and it is not final. When perception becomes more subtle, you can feel not only the result but also the movement itself. Life then stops being a chain of “happened / didn’t happen” and becomes a field of meetings, touches, responses — sometimes visible, sometimes not. This is the expanded understanding of resonance in my experience. And inside it feels like a soft “ah, I see.”
This knowing was deep inside me all this time. I expressed it as “not the time,” “it is not coming together yet,” “a little later,” using socially acceptable language. I remember that my friends were sometimes upset with me. They thought I was always postponing my life and not allowing myself to live. But what if I was not waiting — what if I was listening? Now I see that behind those words there was always a sensing of energy in motion, not avoidance of life. It can be difficult to accept this if you live in the logic of “you must act or you will miss it.” For some people, a pause means fear, waiting means procrastination, and non-manifestation feels like losing.
In the new expanded configuration, if resonance doesn’t manifest into form, I do not try to push it by force. I let it go and go look for another place where I can calmly cut my hair without extra tension. In this simple everyday situation, I recognized myself without distortion. And that is very freeing, isn’t it?
